UNSW Indigenous Admission Scheme

Access Admissions

Access admission application

The Indigenous Admission Scheme provides access for Indigenous people into the University of New South Wales undergraduate degree programs (excluding Law, Medicine, Business and Social Work - see information on Pre-Programs or Enabling Programs if you are interested in these areas). This means that if you haven’t got the required ATAR or State/Territory equivalent for the course you wish to study, or you are returning to study after a long while doing other things, we can assess and support your application to study through your other relevant experience.

UNSW is offering mid-year admission to a range of degrees in the Australian School of Business, the Faculties of Arts and Social Sciences, Engineering, the Built Environment, Science and COFA.

If you would like to apply to commence in second semester, or are considering transferring from another university, please check out the degrees available for the mid-year intake here and then apply through the UNSW Indigenous Admission Scheme.

Nura Gili is now receiving applications for mid-year entry. Applications close Friday 1 June 2012.

Applicants must also show evidence of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent. Please click here for Nura Gili's Confirmation of Aboriginality or Torres Strait Islander Descent Form.

For more information please contact Nick Andrews, Nura Gili's Access/Pathways Co-ordinator, on (02) 9385 8609 or email n.andrews@unsw.edu.au
