Winter School 2013

Another successful Winter School is behind us!  From the 8th to the 13th of July, around 150 excited Indigenous High School students spent a week on the UNSW campus experiencing life as a university student. The program is coordinated by Nura Gili, but would not be possible without the contribution from many other people and organisations who get involved, to make Winter School happen. Thank you to staff in the Faculty of Built Environment, the Australian School of Business, School of Education, Engineering Faculty, Indigenous Studies, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Medicine, School of the Arts and Media, Science Faculty, School of Social Work and the College of Fine Arts.  A special mention must also be made to the staff at UNSW Health Service, who helped look after and care for students who needed medical attention while they were here. And finally, a huge thanks to UBS for ongoing commitment and support, which enables Winter School to happen.
